If you are tempted about Samsung Galaxy S4 and you hate contract deals, you are in a fix. Given that the phone is impressive, perhaps the best from Samsung yet but it also costs a lot. Under contract deals, the burden might have been less but you know the other side of those deals as well. Samsung has this tendency to dilute the brand and make it available for every type of budget. Keeping the tradition alive, Samsung has launched Samsung Grand, Samsung Premier and Samsung Next. Each of these phones look exactly like Samsung Galaxy S4 and more importantly they belong to the Galaxy family as well.

The look and feel is indistinguishable really. All these phone have 4.5 to 5 inch of display which is very close to Galaxy S4. Moreover, the phones all run Android Jelly Bean, just like the costlier cousin. In short, at one glance none can differentiate between these.

However the difference lies inside. Of course, as cheaper versions, these phones have inferior hardware compared to Galaxy S4. The Galaxy Grand for example lacks a corning Gorilla Glass protection or the 4G support. The camera is somewhat comparable but again the RAM is only half. Other features have been stripped down too but the point is the specifications are not too shoddy. You can live well with it.
